In South Salt lake, there is a location which isn't widely known about; outside of those people who work there, or who have grown up around the area. This company, a ceramics manufacturer, is located on the property of what was at one time a large mortuary. One of the largest in Salt Lake, to be exact. From about 1930, to roughly 1950; when the mortuary closed its doors, it hosted one of the first crematoriums in the city. In 1950, the mortuary was largely demolished, save for several structures in the back of the property which housed the cremation ovens, morgue, and embalming rooms. The majority of interior walls were demolished, and large kilns added. However the two original crematory ovens were retained, and converted for use as fast heating kilns. In 2008, or 2009, these crematory ovens were removed from the property, with the large kilns (circa 1950) remaining.

People who work at the company have, since roughly the day the ceramics company opened, reported numerous sightings of two specific spirits; though they also note that there are more there than just the two. The first spirit is reported as being a young girl, maybe 11 or 12 years in age, dressed in a white dress.

The second spirit is reported as being a woman in her 30's, with hair cut in a light bob, and dressed in a simple outfit from the 40's or 50's. According to those who work the "graveyard" overnight shift, the child spirit is always seen first, while the older lady only appears after people have seen the child. Sightings of the spirits has happened since the company first opened, though by all accounts it got worse after the removal of the two original crematory ovens.

Other things reported include items vanishing after being set down, only to appear later at new locations, even though only one person is in the department, strange sounds, and a radio that has a habit of turning itself on at midnight.
