We had just moved into a house close to the lake with a beautiful view. I began my usual remodeling of the home, since I enjoy decorating. Right after we moved in, I began seeing something in the corner of my eyes and when I turned to look, it was gone. It happened a lot.

I was having a contractor move the carpet away from the fireplace so I could install ceramic. He was in front of the fireplace and suddenly stood up and asked "who was that"? I asked what he meant and he said he felt someone walk by him. I replied "that is a ghost we have in this house", somewhat kidding to him. He was very serious and said he felt someone walk by. I explained to him that I see and image, but when I turn around, no one is there. He was a little spooked, but since nothing serious ever became of it, I let it go. I completely remodeled the house, but sold it about a year and half later. The people who bought the house just loved all the decorating I did to it.

About a year after they moved in, she called me to let me know that we had mail delivered to that address and it was from the government, so she thought I might want to stop by and get it. I said I would. She then said, "oh by the way, we still love the house, but did you know it's haunted?" I said "yes" I knew that, and she said "and you didn't tell me?" I said "you wouldn't have believed me", since I was the only living there so felt a presence.

She said he family thought she was crazy, until they saw an apparition step out of the wall! I never saw anything, but I knew it was there. I would have freaked out if I had actually seen it! This was over 20 years ago, and they still live there!
