Seven Gables House, Heritage Village, Largo, FL

I sensed two spirits in this house, one was a little girl that scared my nephew so bad he could not continue the guided tour of the house. He refused to go near her! I finished the tour and felt her there with us the whole time.


Just prior to the tour my mother had given me a really nice bracelet and I wore it on the tour. That night, when I got home and went to bed, I wore the bracelet. But when I woke in the morning the bracelet was gone. I assumed it fell off during my sleep although because of the way the bracelet fit I didn't really believe it could have fallen off. But what other explanation was there?

All day my husband and I took turns tearing the bed and the room apart looking for the bracelet because I was really sad that it was missing. We both did a thorough search two or three times and did not find the bracelet.

That night when we went to bed I was thinking about the girl spirit at the Seven Gables House and it occurred to me that maybe she "took" it. So I asked her if she would please return it. Later in the night my husband got up to use the restroom and I got up for a drink of water. When I came back to the room it was completely dark and my husband was already laying in bed. Just as I stepped into the room I heard a loud thunk on the floor and asked my husband what it was. He said he didn't know but that something had just hit him in the head and bounced off his head to the pillow and then to the floor. When I turned on the light my missing bracelet was laying in the middle of the bedroom floor! I put it on and it never went missing again. I wear it to bed regularly without any incident. I still can't explain it. But I feel the girl did have it.

The Lowe Home was by far the creepiest home in the Village that I went to. I'd like to go back and take some photos as well, maybe bring a voice recorder also. The feeling in the house is definitely heavy. There's no doubt you are not alone in that place.

I took my grand daughter there about a year ago and everything went fine.A few months ago we drove past the village and as we passed the seven gables my grand daughter told me her grand mother lives in it. Her grand mother passed away about 15 months ago.I plan to take her back again soon with my camera.

I went to the Heritage Village today. I walked into the Plant Sumner house. No one else was in there but me. I took random pics all over the place. Nothing out of the ordinary. I started to play w/ my phone by taking pics from behind as I walked through the downstairs. Again, nothing out of ordinary, until one photo I showed my husband. He immediately noticed a woman in a picture screaming. She was located near the fireplace room. I was standing in the dinning area. He had to point it out because I just could not see it. When he did, I actually saw the full image too. I will intend to go back again soon for a thorough search on every house to see what comes out to play.

My husband, 9yr.old daughter&myself went to Heritage Park many times as we live so close to there. From the 1st time we stepped foot in that hm our hair was standing on end from the energy inside. We could hear footsteps walking around upstairs as well as footsteps going up&down the staircase&we were the only ones inside the house.My daughter wanted to leave because she felt so uncomfortable, like she was being watched&we did as well. All 3 of us experienced random cold spots as well as random floral&cigar smoke scents wafting through the hm. On our last trip there (minus our daughter...lol),I took alot of pictures with my phone&was suprised to find so many anomalies in them! I figured maybe if we were lucky we'd find something in 1 or 2, but we were shocked by how many we got! It was quite a few of them! We also took pictures in the Seven Gables with not much luck. Only 1 taken in the closet under the staircase had an odd humanoid shaped anomaly in it. The log cabin is another we took pictures in&got a red orb in 2 shots that my husband&I actually saw with our own eyes! We were totally amazed we actually caught it twice in 2 different places in the cabin! Our family are definitely firm believers that Heritage Park has paranormal activity going on there! We would be happy to show&share our photos with believers&non-believers alike!

I see several comments about the Lowe House and feeling a dark presence in there. I had the exact same experience, especially by the stairs. And particularly the back of the stairs. I think there was a small room under the stairs or a cubby space? I don't remember because it's been so long, but that spot in particular made every hair on my body stand up. Creepy place!

Today I went with my fiance to Heritage Village, and while in the formal parlor of the House of Seven Gables, I witnessed an orb. I was taking pictures, standing in front of the stair case, towards the fireplace. As I took a picture, a very bright orb came from the fireplace directly at me, then passed me to the left. I was unable to capture it in the photo because my phone couldn't focus on it.

I was in the Seven Gables House and I took pics of every room. In the child's room I felt weird. I also heard a noise near the back stairwell. As I looked thru my photos I noticed a ghost in the childs room. Email blpphotos727@gmail.com and I will send you the photo

I also had an experience with bad feeling in one of the houses. I don't remember which house it was but there was a definite feeling right around the stairs. It definitely felt like male energy but maybe more than one energy. I'll have to look up to see if it was the Lowe House.

I don't feel much at the Seven Gables house, but the Lowe house just draws me in, Especially looking up stairs We were there today and tried to do a quick evp and I took some pictures, but don't think anything has come of it. But I have a feeling they are just being shy.

hi i also live near heritage village i have been to several of the houses many times and have sensed several presences there that are still seeming to linger in their houses even after they have passed heritage village however will not allow any paranormal investigations due to fear of theives but would loe to organize one eventually

My Husband and I went to the Heritage Villae this past Friday (4/27/12) and didn't see any aperitions or orbs or sense of presence nearby. So we will go back this Sunday (4/29/12) with my digital camera and video tape any room we can (with out us being in the actual room) and see what comes into view when it comes time to see the video. If anything, we will post it on this sight and ask for your imput.

Me and my friend didn't personally experience anything with the little girl but we were talking to the tour guide after she had told us odd incidents in the house, like her hearing footsteps even though she was alone in the house, or finishing up a tour and finding her water bottle turned upside down. There is another house in heritage village that we went in and it had a really dark atmosphere to it, especially when we went upstairs. I don't know if you went in that house as well, it was the only house there that felt threatening and scary.
