Portland Oregon Waldo building (old "Elephant and Castle")

I used to work there in the 80's.

Things moved upstairs when the upstairs was vacant.
One night a chair moved... witnessed by two others, on its own on the main floor.
I used to have a standing bet. Anybody who could go and stand halfway up the front steps (which were interior, and the entrance for the upper two vacant floors) for 10 minutes.
Many tried. Nobody lasted longer than 5 and came in pale white and cursing me for asking them to do such.
