New Bethel Cemetery in Eckville, PA

In the 1800's, a local innkeeper, Mathias Schumacher, robbed and murdered hundreds of travelers who stayed at his establishment. He buried the dismembered bodies on his property. In a deathbed confession he told his tale. Police dug over two hundred bodies up and, since it was impossible in those days, to identify skeletal remains, they buried all of them in this cemetery. If you go there, as I have, you travel to the old part of the cemetery, up on the hill where graves are unmarked and just begin taking pictures. We have rarely had a picture without orbs and even one picture of a kneeling woman at the base of a tree. We have made audio tapes, just on our video cameras, of conversations between men and women. Local Berks Paranormal Society regularly goes there to test their equipment since it is so reliably filled with spirits. I have hundreds of pictures of orbs of all sizes and colors. Some pictures have up to a dozen and we have one video of a moving orb. This its an outstanding ghost site!
