On numerous occasions, and by numerous people, someone playing basketball in the gym could be overheard. It was always after the school had been closed for the day and no events were occurring. On one occasion, a high school girl was gathering her homework from her locker after volleyball practice and she heard the distinct sound of a basketball being dribbled in the gym. She assumed that a teammate had decided to shoot some hoops before going home, so she decided to join them. As she walked up to the gym doors, she saw no one in the gym but still heard the basketball being dribbled and the klang of the ball hitting the basketball goal rim! It has been said that the ghostly basketball player is a high school boy that loved to play the game of basketball but was unfortunately killed in a car wreck during his senior year of school. On other occasions, voices have been heard in the top floor locker room along with lockers being opened and closed. The lights on the third floor also have been seen through the windows going on and off in the middle of the night.
