The story behind the house is that a drifter came through looking for work on the family's farm in the last 1800's and ended up murdering the whole family, mom and dad 3 sons and 2 daughters, hanging the youngest daughter in the shed out front. All this is in newspaper articles from the period. I have personally spent many nights in the house and have witnessed many eerie things. Seeing shadows passing in front of me, orbs in photos, cold spots, and cold grasps on the back of my neck and shoulders while in the basement. You can hear whispers and footsteps, and once in a while what sounds like a little girl screaming. I have also seen the apparition of a small body hanging/floating in the shed out front. A good friend of mine claims to have been attacked in the basement of the home, I did not witness that but did see many scratch wounds and red hand prints on her back. She to this day refuses to set foot back on the property. The basement of the house is by far the most eerie part of the home.
