this used to be a mental hospital and on several occations witnesses have seen a woman in white on the upper levels of what is now building g.



a woman, and or a child is known to take people towards the old cremetory chiminey in their sleep.

witnesses can give detailed information on the layout of this off limits area after waking up,in the condition it was in before the place became a prison.

the tunnels are allegedly blocked off due to no longer needing them and escape risk but they have always been locked down by many doors and inaccessable by inmates alone, this plus the fact that many gaurds refuse to go down in them from stories of what has been seen in them makes the story of blocking them off a bit fishy, especially considering the rumors that these tunnels were once used to pull vagrants and the occational lone passerthrough off the streets so as to do medical tests like electroshock therapy, drug tests,and others on people that would not be missed.


gaurds and inmates alike have hundreds of stories of these events,hauntings,etc. and many refuse to live or work in particular areas because they themselves have seen something they would rather not see again.

My friend who I just visited yesterday said that he woke to this ugly mean man screaming in his face!! It's happened 4 different times in 3 different places in the prison! Same man, same face!in his face screaming at him. I heard this from my friend yesterday!! 1/01/2024.

I worked at EOCI as a Correctional officer from 2010-2012 I worked every post and every shift. I never saw anything but I have spoken to both staff and inmates that swear they have. Alot of their stories are quite similar.

I worked at EOCI out of an office on D-3 North. My desk faced the entrance to my office. There was a window above the door. One morning I saw the reflection of a man in a trench coat float by. Any images on the window are reflected from inside the office. Whatever/whoever that was "walking/floating?" was just a few feet behind me. That part of EOCI used to be a Hospital staff residence. I also saw a rocking horse in children visitor's play area rocking on it's own one evening on C-3.

I spent nine months a EOCI in 2014. I was in the F building, fourth floor which was a dorm setting. The first night I bedded down there I heard knocking coming from the other side of the wall. I thought there were washing machines in there rattling with laundry since I didn't know the layout of the dorm yet. Turns out it there was just a storage area back there. Nothing to bang or cause a knocking noise. This was my first experience. My second experience: I was sitting in the dayroom playing cards with an elderly gentlemen. Twice during our game he was tapped on the back. Hard. He thought it came from the inmates sitting at the table behind him, but I was sitting there and can attest that they did not tap him on the back. Again, someone else sitting in the same seat months later was tapped on the back. He was shaken by this pretty badly. Something kicked the drawer under a bed that someone was sitting on. Another inmate, a very religious Mexican guy, was pinned down in his bed by an unseen force. The guy who slept below him had his feet touched. I became fascinated and started asking the guards about the hauntings and every one had a story that you could tell bothered them to recount. We made a Quija board on night to try and communicate with the spirits in the f wing but decided against it. The Quija board, which was made on the back of a roll-up chess board, was put into someone's drawer and during the night he heard banging coming from s drawer. EOCI is a haunted place. It made a believer out of me.

I guarantee there is a lot of residual ebergy there, I run a non profit business called Spring Creek paranormal research and have been down there.
ZI felt uneasy the entire time ive been there. almost as if there is or was something lurking around at different corners. doors being opend desk
doors opening at times lights being turned on when there was noone to leave them on this is a highly restricted area there.
