Close up of the little girl ghost at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, AL
Cedar Hill Cemetery is a huge 67 acre cemetery located in Scottsboro Alabama on May 3rd, 2003.
In the oldest part of this cemetery, I was strolling through, taking pictures of the oldest monuments and headstones, as I love old architecture. I was in a hurry to get a few photos at approx. 1:30 pm, as the sky was getting darker by the moment and I could hear the thunder getting much closer.
Not wanting to get caught in an electrical storm, I was making my way back to my car when I spied an unusual grave. Curious, I walked over to it and saw it was raised on the sides of the slab enough to hold approx. 3 inches of water, which in turn, would reflect the name and dates on the headstone to the water. Hearing the thunder closer and feeling the first couple drops of rain, I raised the camera and took a picture. Later that evening I downloaded my pictures to my computer and was looking them over. When I got to the photo of the water grave, I couldn't believe what I saw!
There, in the background, was a small child looking back at me. Being a paranormal investigator for the past 37 years, my first thought was to debunk the photo...
When looking at the photo you can see, there was no sunlight out at the time because none of the headstones throw a shadow. Then I thought it could be a trick of the light with a break in the bushes... but the more I looked at the photo the more my gut tells me its none of those things because even if I DID entertain that theory, there is simply no way to explain that little white hand resting on the stone in front of her... and neither has anyone else.
YOU be the judge.
