Basement Apartment 700 E 300 S Salt Lake City, Utah

I was barely 17 yrs. old when I lived in a basement apartment of a very old (possibly early 1800's) multi level home up on the East side of Salt Lake City closer to the Capitol Hill. One night I was home alone sleeping in my waterbed when I was awakened by my bed moving, top to bottom like someone was at the end of the bed pushing down. If you've ever had a waterbed you know what I am talking about. Well, I layed there with my eyes closed as I was so scared that it was an intruder. I felt the presence of someone being in my room but I knew no one was expected home. I layed there and listened, I heard nothing but the water in the mattress moving. After a short bit, the bed stopped moving and I got the courage to open my eyes just ever so slightly, you know in case someone was still there. Well, no one was there in the bedroom so I crept to the door and looked out into the living area...still no one. Checked the front door (the only door in the place) it was still locked. Cannot be explained other than a ghostly presence having a little bit of fun at my expense.
